About EWH @ UTD

Engineering World Health is a global, non-profit organization whose mission statement is to "inspire, educate, and empower the biomedical engineering community to improve healthcare delivery in the developing world."

The student chapter at UT Dallas was founded in 2016 to further increase EWH's efforts not only on UT Dallas' campus, but also in the Dallas area. So far, we have had great success inspiring in students from local high schools an interest in pursuing a career in biomedical sciences/engineering through our STEM Outreach. Moving forward, we plan on continuing this program as well as addressing EWH's latter part of its mission statement: to address the need to improve healthcare delivery in developing countries.
